Austrians are known for their love of the outdoors: mountains, lakes and hills are all part of your everyday Austria-experience. Moreover, you will be in the heart of Europe, meaning you are able to visit all wonderful countries next to Austria - there are really good train connections! Make sure to check out our beautiful Christmas markets in winter and enjoy and afterwork swim in the Danube river close to our office during the hot months of the year.

We understand that the application process might be stressful for candidates. This is why we try to be very fast with our feedback. After sending us your application, you can expect an answer within 14 days - however, a faster reply is very likely. As soon as you've secured a spot in a first interview, the process typically takes around another 2 to 3 weeks (depending on the role and on the number of refurbed team members involved in the interviews). We know your time is valuable and we want you to have a great experience, which is why we try to be as fast and as transparent as we can!




Depending on the role you are applying for, one of our recruiters will be your interview partner in the first round. In this meeting, it will be all about you learning more about us and us learning more about you and your interesting background. In the second interview, you will meet your future teamlead and/or your colleagues. Additionally depending on the role, you will be working on a case study to give us more insights about your skills and expertise. The final meeting is with one of our Founders - Kilian, Peter or Jürgen!
Obviously, every interview process is different and can be very individual. Hence, you will receive all important information in time for your next step! We are also always happy to answer your questions.




Please include your CV with any relevant information (education, previous work experience including tasks and responsibilities, skills, etc.), as well as a motivational letter stating why you want to join refurbed and why you would be a good fit for the role you're applying to. If you want to share any relevant projects that you've worked on and that you want us to look at, feel free to do so! Furthermore, let us know about your availability to start, salary expectation and your the location you are currently living in. Tip: You are not required to include a photo, your gender or your age - we only care about your skills & qualifications and you as a person :)

You can find us here: Jakov-Lind Str. 7, 3rd floor, 1020 Vienna. For getting there, take the the public transport (U2, U1, the city train or a tram) to Praterstern and take the exit to Lassallestraße. Of course you can also reach our office by foot or by bike :) As soon as you see a lot of office buildigs, you might feel confused - don't panic, you are in the right place. Now, finding us will be very easy: Go straight ahead and pass all those buildings and restaurants, until you arrive at Jakov-Lind Str. 7. You cannot miss it - if you just keep going straight ahead, our building will be right in front of you after a while. Our entrance is located right next to the mexican restaurant in our building.




You've accepted our offer and signed the contract - great! Welcome to refurbed :) Prior to your start you will receive all necessary information by e-mail regarding your first couple of days at refurbed. On your very first day you will be welcomed by the People Operations team, who will tell you everything about refurbed's company concept, strategy and mission. On that day you will receive your computer, your log-ins and all necessary equipment. In the next days, each department will present themselves. Your onboarding is scheduled for approximately one week and a half. After that, you're ready to go! No need to prepare anything, just come as you are, enjoy the onboarding and be yourself :)
